Dataiku is a French company leader in the emerging field of innovation through data, founded by Big Data veterans.
Dataiku, a Parisian start-up created in 2013 by Florian Douetteau, Marc Batty, Clément Sténac and Thomas Cabrol, launched the « Data Science Studio » (DSS) software on the French market in February 2014. DSS is a platform aiming at facilitating and boosting data analysis and the creation of business and predictive applications in a Big Data environment.
Dataiku is now comprised of over 60 employees and is opening offices in New York, San Francisco and London. The company won various distinctions and contests. Dataiku was awarded most disruptive Company by the EBG in 2013, one of the most Innovative Companies by the French ministry of Research, it won the Trophée de la Convergence as “Best Big Data solution”, was elected as “Coup de Coeur” by BlaBlaCar and Criteo at the French Evening for Talented Entrepreneurs” in July 2014, startup of the year by the newspaper L’Usine Digitale in October 2014, and nominated among the Tech5 by TheNextWeb in March 2015. In January 2015, the company announced its first fundraising of 3 million euros, carried out with Alven Capital and Serena Capital.
DSS is a platform aiming at facilitating and boosting data analysis and the creation of business and predictive applications in a Big Data environment. This tool is adapted to both Data Scientists and Developers as well as to less technical profiles with an orientation towards marketing or business.
